U=unfortunately it's not possible to directly choose the specific IP address you'll be assigned to when connecting to the internet. IP addresses are dynamically assigned by your internet service provider (ISP) based on various factors, and they are not static or user-selectabl i think

Hey everyone, I’m looking for a way to use a specific IP address, like if I wanted to be on 21.21.21.21, and only use that IP. If anyone knows how to do this, please help me out. Thanks!

Here’s what I learned so far:

1. Pick a Reliable VPN: First, choose a good VPN that lets you manually select servers based on location. Some popular ones are ExpressVPN, NordVPN, or CyberGhost. Most of these are paid, but they offer stable connections and a wide range of server locations.

2. Install the VPN App: Download and install the VPN app on your device. Most VPNs have versions for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.

3. Connect to a Specific Server: Open the VPN app, log in, and look for the option to choose a specific server. You can pick by country or sometimes by city, which gives you a stable IP from that location. While you might not get the exact IP like 21.21.21.21, you’ll be using a dedicated IP for the server you select.

4. Check Your New IP: Once you’re connected, double-check your IP to confirm it’s working. You can go to a site like whatismyip.com to see if your IP matches the location you selected in the VPN.

5. Advanced Option (Optional): If you need a truly specific IP and the VPN doesn’t offer it, you could consider setting up a dedicated proxy. Paid proxy services let you buy an exact IP, but they’re usually less secure than VPNs.

Hopefully, this helps anyone who’s also trying to stay on a specific IP!
