I got tired of how slow Visual Studio 2010 was being so I went looking for an alternative when I came across these so I decided to make a thread for it.

I tried them all out but so far I am liking SharpDevelop the most. It is close to the Visual Studio ide I'm used to which helps and it's fast and light weight. The only thing I don't like about it is you have to debug the program be for the syntax to update, like for errors to dis appear if you fix them etc..

I love Mono IDE on my Mac http://monodevelop.com/ -- even more sexier does cross plateform

Yeah, looked at it and didn't like it. Think it required something I couldn't get installed.
