Hello VIPs!
As a VIP, you have a number of wonderful perks, one of which is access to the Creator Program where you can create your own products for fun and/or profit! If you have never given the Creator Program a try, this is a great time to do so. Next week we are rolling out a new FBX Import tool that will make Creating easier than ever.
We hope you will take advantage of your VIP status to check out, or revisit, the Creator Program now it's even more accessible. The first step is to download Blender, a popular community-driven open source 3D creation suite that's actively maintained and regularly updated.
Once you've downloaded your free copy of Blender, try out some of the great Blender tutorials by one of IMVU's large Creator Community, Jazzkat:

At this time, we are only supporting FBX import
At this time, we are only supporting FBX import for files that come from Blender. As we get Creator feedback on the features and functionality we will be working to support FBX files that were created in 3D Studio Max, Maya, Sketchup and other tools. (In theory those should all work now, but we have found that most tools use this "standard" format a little differently. Feel free to try non-blender FBX files at your own risk.)
We plan to release the FBX Import tool in a week. That gives you time to learn Blender and gear up for our new feature. At that time we'll have more tutorials to show how the Import tool works within our platform. If you haven't already, we hope you will take this opportunity to give the Creator Program a try. If you're a current creator, we hope you will take some time to learn and enjoy this tool as well.
wat are you gonna do about this?
