Yesterday got msg stating my account has been permanently disabled for violating TOS through a picture and that i had been warned before! I did NOT get any prior warnings that they claim nor do i believe i broke any rules. IMVU just plumb ripped my account from meeee in my eyes without any legit reason. I am so utterly pissed. Id been a member since 3/2011 and had less than a month ago upgraded to VIP!!! Thieves!! How can they take money and i receive no service for. On top of it all, the real money id spent on AP, name owning, cred purchases. the the time & work i put into in becoming a level 3 dev and pending sale creds. I have filed a help ticket thru a friend's account and today the ticket said it has been assigned...Whatever that means.

If there is anyone out there that can help as to how to handle this and get my account back...suggestions, advice, anything....or even if i have any hope or getting my account back. V.V

If none of that works, start repeatedly calling their billing support number and bitching your head off at them non stop for at least a week.
If still you do not have your account back ... your only choice left is to sue.

Do you know what the picture was of?

No i have no clue. I cant log in to see and as far as i know my profile furry pic that i had changed that morning was GA. Did ask in help ticket for proof of picture in question and dates of previous warnings given. Can they even do this? Harsh to instantly shut account down.

That's odd. From what I know, if your profile picture violates the TOS, they delete it and replace it with their own default avatar picture instead. So you should have seen that had they done it. So iot seems like they didn't remove. Just another example of the inconsistencies of their policies.

Unless it wasn't the Profile Photo, Could've been an Album Photo.

True, he mentioned his profile pic, that's why I mentioned it.

If you had anything UFI or AP in your profile picture that might be it .
IMVU gets extremele bitcchy over that and i don't blame them . If i had kids i woudln't want them to see something extremely UFI . But when i think about it no internet for my kids until they are 16 .

According to their TOS, they can do anything whenever they want without warning, cause, nor reason.

i never heard of being permanently banned over a picture. i know of someone who got banned over pictures a few times but they only banned the account up to a month and he got banned for it more then once. though i have had a friend get banned for no reason over something they didnt do so id do as don von said and bug them the best you can.
