Ok, its not completly free to run this site efficiently. All of our current revenue comes from the referrals we get in the "Free Money" category of our forums. Over the past 6 months, the IMVU Mafia's have made $60. Half of which has been funneled back into maintaining our site and the other half of which is sitting in The Vault to cover costs over the next 6 months.
GREEN = These are things we can afford and are paying for.
RED = These are things we can not afford, but could benefit from.
*Note that all bills are paid on a monthly basis.
Remove dangerous ads from Forums - $5
We do not have control over the ads on the top and bottom of our forums. Those ads are put their by our server provider. Many of these ads lead to malicious sites claiming to have IMVU cheats or to scams claiming to give you free credits. Do not click on these ads.
Spam control and special effects for Shoutbox - $2
This shoutbox upgrade gives us ban control, spam control, language filters, smiley faces, number of users online, and a cool beeping noise whenever someone sends a shout.
Statistics tracking visitors and Security - $4
Our advertisement team works hard bringing in visitors to our site. These statistics allow us to see which sites or search engines our visitors are coming from. This data is vital in our research for bringing in more members. The Security, being used on our site, may also be applied to IMVU hp's, allowing us to track enemy hackers. Other data provided by this investment includes browsers, countries, and operating system. Knowing this information allows us to better fit our site for what the majority of our users are viewing it with.
Increase Storage and Speed of Homepage - $5
Currently the growth of our site is at a stand still. Each of our web pages and the graphics on the homepage take up room on our server space. Our server provider is currently limiting us to only 17 pages on our homepage. By spending money to upgrade our homepage, we are allowed to add unlimited pages with 3gigs of storage.
TOTAL DESIRED COST = $16
TOTAL CURRENT COST = $6
DIFFERENCE = $10
MONEY IN OUR VAULT = $30
MONEY DESIRED = $80
DIFFERENCE = $50
Summary: We need to find a way to increase our profits by 25% and gain an extra $50 surplus in The Vault. Do not fear, I have an extremely easy and costless plan to achieve our financial goals. In our "Approved Methods" section of the "Free Money" category, is the topic "Review Adds For Lots Of Free Money - paypal". Each referal in that topic gives us $1.25 per person who signs up. The IMVU Mafias attract approximately 50 new members to our site per week. If we can get 8 out of those 50 users per week to sign up under our referal, it will be enough to fund our desired expences within a month's time.
Approximitely 6 people per week sign up for our VIP section. I propose that we make signing up for AW surveys, which is also completly free, a requirement in our shortcut to gaining VIP Mafia status. Such an act should bring us closer to our goals.
