I seem to be having an issue with this.
The current version that I have installed is V36 and would like to uninstall that before installing V37, yet whenever I click on the uninstaller I get a message telling me that it cannot run on this pc.

I am running a Win 10 OS.

Sounds like you have Smartscreen Enabled. That feature of Windows prevents a lot of my programs from running because I won't pay an absurd amount of money to get them signed by Microsoft.

I recommend disabling it. It's one of the first things I turned off when I installed Windows 10. https://www.howtogeek.com/75356/how-to- ... windows-8/

Is there a way to install imvu lite without the admin rights ?
I had to install the official client on my work PC because of that, and it feels so lackluster without the features from the modded mafias clients. Both the lite and the PRB clients need Admin rights to install, any tip to circumvent that will be greatly apreciated.

The installer is not supposed to require admin rights. Do you have User Account Control enabled in Windows by chance?

Thank you for the reply DM, yes, unfortunately it's on, it all makes sense now.
Since I can;t simply walk to the IT supp guys and tell them I need special rights for "unknown reasons" it won;t come off too soon, and I can't get lite installed on the machine, it's clear now, so I might have to drop the attempt completely and get used to idea that at least I got the official client on, though it makes no sense that it worked installing it in the first place.
May I contact you in pm or discord in this case, see if I'm able to modify the official client myself?
I just want to allow at least the camera in shop and the /*hiressnap function, since that is what I kind of have time to do at work

You're free to PM me but I'm afraid I cannot help you with client hacking. If you're sure you cannot install it you could just copy the client from another machine. Put the client folder on a flash drive and just paste it into the appdata folder and it should work fine.

Alternatively you could run it off the flash drive using some a batch script to temporarily alter the registry and use the flash drive rather than the appdata folder.
